DC Direct Red Robin Action Figure

Although this is from the Kingdom Come series and therefore intended to be an alternate-universe Dick Grayson, at our house we consider it to be the later-part-of-Countdown Jason Todd. :)

It's a good-looking figure with wonderful detailing. I'm happy with it because I knew what to expect--however, it's not a very active action figure, is it? By that I mean that playability is quite low. The articulation is minimal--below minimal, really--with a head that turns, arms that turn but don't extend out at all, and legs that sort of pivot when you lift them (so that if you try to have him sit, they just turn backwards). The knees and elbows don't bend. Honestly, this guy is just eye candy.

The children both commented that he was "short," which I guess he is compared to a lot of the DC Direct figures. He does, however, match up well size-wise with the Marvel Legends figures, which tend to stay at a six-inch scale.
